 Africa is My Home is written Monica Edinger.  It is about Sarah Margru Kinson a girl that was on the Amistad.  The book tells the story of the captives on the Amistad, but it is mostly about how Sarah Margru Kinson got back to Africa.  The book has a lot of historical facts. It does not have that many literary devices but when it does use them they are good.  Now this book is a historical fiction book so it’s not going to have as many true facts as a non-fiction book but if you read it you will learn a lot.  One more thing, even though this book is not out yet I suggest you read it when it comes out.  So now you know a little about Africa is My Home by Monica Edinger.
