					<description>I loved your story. I the begining when her mother was kidnaped I thought that she had died. But I loved the ending when her mother told her that she was just kidnapped. what happend after that? did she become a famous skater? you should write a second one about when she is an adult. It was interesting to me because other students picked  other quotes- which gave a slightly different picture to someone who has not read the book.  I liked the author's descriptive language that you shared in your review.</description>

					<description>I agree with you that Edwidge Danticat uses great literary devices to make the story really exciting. Don’t you think that the story is sad though? Especially when the bombs and shootings are happening. Don’t you love it written as a journal? I think this book is such a good example of historical fiction because it's a true story. I absolutely think it’s a great example of historical fiction.
