After Plimoth Plantation

Plimoth was a lot of fun. In some ways it was what I expected and some ways it wasn’t.

The bus ride was more fun than I thought it would be. We watched movies and I played a game with my bus partner. We watched Flushed Away, Akeelah and the Bee, and part of Cars. The game that my partner and I played was a magnetic baseball game. We played three innings, the first inning was scoreless and the second I scored my only run on a triple. The third inning was scoreless so I won by a score of one to none.
When we first got there we saw Plymouth Rock and we went on the replica of the Mayflower called the Mayflower II. We got back on to the bus and we drove to our cabins and we dropped our stuff of and we went to the Native American’s Village. The Native American’s are called the Wampanoag’s. We went to a huge dinning hall that we ate at, we had Pottage, cheese, bread, and peach pie.
Next was another great part of our first day, the activity night, first we looked at two different Pilgrim houses. We came up with a conclusion that one of the houses was newer. Then we went to a cabin where we wrote with quills. It was very fun. Then we went to another cabin where we dressed up as a Pilgrim. I dressed up as a male adult. It was so funny to see everyone dressed up like a Pilgrim. Here comes the fun part, GAMES! I got so obsessed with one game called Nine Men Morris. I love it. Then we went to bed.
We woke up and played football indoors and almost broke a picture on the wall! After that we went for our breakfast. We had a normal breakfast with cereal, and toasted bagels. Then we put our stuff in the bus and went to the pilgrim village. We saw a lot of people pretending to be a pilgrim. Then we got back on the bus to go home.
On the way back we finished Cars, The Incredibles, and part of Sky High.
All in all it was a very fun trip and the best part was that we had two days there, which meant double the fun.
