I think that your story was good but it was confusing when you were talking about the two James’s. I think that you could have written James 1 and James 2 so you know which James you are talking about. I also think that if you had a little more of the next day then people will want to know what they did together. One more thing is that I think that the princess should have a name. Overall it was still a good story.

I think you are very understanding of the father trying to save the whole village by pawning his daughter. I do not think I could do it even to save a lot of others.

Tell your buddy that she or he did a good job. Maybe the 3rd grade student could share with his or her buddy some special NYC celebration- like New Orleans has Mardi Gras?

This sounds like it would be a good book for someone whose family came from other places. (That is probably true of a lot of Americans.) I love the enthusiasm of your review.

Great blog and I would recomend it to anyone also. It was very good. What books have you read of late? For you I would recomend that you should read all of the Matt Christopher books, Have you read all of them?
