In one of my other posts I said what I thought it would be like on are Plymouth trip. Well I’m back and ready to tell you about it.
When we got there we put our stuff in the room and did some safety stuff. Then we took a bus over to Plymouth Rock. It was pretty big and it had 1620 engraved in it. Then we went to Burial Hill and saw a lot of graves of the pilgrims. We even got to see William Bradford’s grave.
Then we went to the Mayflower 2. On the M.2. We talked to some of the people on it and they told us their stories.
When it time for supper we had turkey pottage, bread and butter, carrots, prunes, grapes, cheese and pair pie. The pottage was not very good like I guest, but I ate it because it kind of tasted like gravy. Other then that the supper was cool. There was an apple citer and fake pewter plate it was so awesome.
After supper we did 4 activities the first one three people dressed up like the pilgrims would dress. One person as a man, a lady, and a baby. The man would were a pair breeches and shirt, but his has was sort of like the ones we were know. Then we went into a theater and played some games that they would have played. One of them was riding on a stick with a fake horse head on the front. One other game was 9 pins. It was like bowling, but you could throw the ball, there are 9 pins and the ball is not heavy. Then we went to 2 different pilgrim homes and got into 4 groups and tried t see the differences between the houses. After that my group went to a room to try to write with quill pens. We got to write our names. After that we had a snack and went to bed. In the morning we had breakfast and left and went to the gift shop. Then we put all of are stuff on the bus. After that we went to a pilgrim village and saw some homes and talked to dressed up people. Then we went to lunch. Then we drove home.
